In Los Andes is the prestigious club basketball, Division Staff Basketball Chile or DIMAYOR, Club Liceo Mixto of Los Andes, which is the current three-time champion of Chile, after defeating the University of Concepción, Boston College and Sports valdivia the finals in 2007-2008, 2008-2009 and 2009 respectively.

Mountain Sports play an important role in sports and out of competition.
